MSOE Girls Basketball Camp
The MSOE Girls Basketball Camp concentrates on developing complete basketball players through effective technical skills activities, game play, and situational understanding. Campers will be challenged through age and skill appropriate activities that will both develop and perfect their basketball skills.

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (M-TH), 9 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Friday)
Grades: Girls entering 3rd - 8th grade
Price: $175 (1 Week), $325 (2 Weeks)
Price with early drop-off/Late pick-up: $195 (1 week), $365 (2 weeks)
Early drop-off: 8:00 a.m.
Late pick-up: 5:00 p.m.

MSOE Head Coach: Katie Nelson
Katie Nelson is in her second season as head coach of the MSOE women's basketball team. Coach Nelson had served as an assistant coach at Johns Hopkins since 2009-10, helping the team to six winning records in seven seasons and a 123-62 (.665) overall record. She helped the program to regular season championships and the NCAA Tournament in 2011 and 2012. Other coaching stints included two seasons with the Washington Mystics of the WNBA, Navy and New Hampshire.
Nelson was a four-year starter at the University of Massachusetts at point guard, serving as team captain as a senior. She capped her career with the Minute women as the school's all-time leader in three-point field goals (191) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1:36) and also ranked among the top five in assists (366), games started (103) and minutes played (3,632).
The MSOE Girls Basketball Camp is held at the Kern Center, MSOE's 210,000-square-foot health, wellness, fitness and recreation facility.
All campers will need to check-in at the Kern Center front desk.
Insurance / Medical Forms
Campers must have their own health insurance. Each camper must complete a medical history and liability release form. The medical history form will be mailed/emailed with confirmation. Download the medical history form and mail it in with your registration. Under no circumstances may a camper participate without completing these forms.
Confirmation / Refunds / Event Cancellations
Registration confirmation will be emailed prior to the start of the camp. Confirmation will include a medical form and more camp specifics. Both the medical form and the liability form must be completed in order to participate. No refunds will be given unless accompanied by an authorized doctor's notice. In the event of a camp cancellation, campers will be notified one week prior to the start of the camp and a full refund will be processed.
