MSOE Soccer Prospect Camp - April 27, 2019
MSOE Soccer Prospect Camps are designed for players seeking to improve their skills and understanding of the game while experiencing collegiate coaching from MSOE soccer coaches.

MSOE Soccer Camps are held at Viets Field and the Kern Center. Viets Field is the home soccer venue for both the men's and women's programs. The field is located on top of MSOE's parking structure. The Kern Center is MSOE's Health and Wellness facility.
- All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment.
- Campers should bring both cleats and running shoes, shin guards and appropriate clothing.
- Water will be provided, however, campers should bring a water bottle of their own.
- Each camper will receive an MSOE Soccer Camp Shirt
- Soccer Balls will be provided
Jimmy Banks, Head Men's Soccer Coach
Jimmy Banks took the helm of the MSOE soccer program in 1999. In 2009 and 2014, Banks was named Northern Athletics Conference Coach of the Year. He was also named Coach of the Year twice when MSOE was a member of the Lake Michigan Conference.
Banks is one of the most talented soccer players to come out of Milwaukee. In 1981, He was an All-American forward at Custer High School. While at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Banks was a National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA) NAIA All-American selection in 1983. After transferring to UW-Milwaukee, He was an NSCAA All-Midwest Region selection in 1985 and 1986. Banks later went on to play on the 1990 U.S. World Cup team where he started two games as a defender and continued his soccer career by playing for the Milwaukee Wave. In 2002, he was among the honorees in the "Decade of U.S. Soccer" celebration held in the nation's capitol. Banks is an inducted member of Custer High School and Wisconsin Soccer Association's Hall of Fame.
Rolf Zersen, Head Women's Soccer Coach
Rolf Zersen is in his 14th season as head coach of the MSOE women?s soccer program. Coach Zersen took over the program in 2004. Over the past 10 years, MSOE has made the conference tournament each year, won conference twice, and advanced to the NCAA tournament. The success continues as the program attracts high quality student-athletes from across the country. Coach Zersen played collegiately at CUW and competitively with the Bavarians, Croation Eagles, and Mequon United. As a collegiate player at Concordia-Wisconsin, Zersen was a three-year starter, captain and an All-Lake Michigan Conference selection as a senior. He holds a National and Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA, a goalkeeper license and numerous other licenses.
Campers must have their own health insurance. Each camper must complete the medical history/liability release form. It can be mailed, emailed or brought on the first day. Under no circumstances may a camper participate without completing this form.
Registration confirmation will be sent prior to the start of the clinic. Participants will not receive confirmation if they register within five days of the clinic. No refunds will be given unless a doctor's excuse is provided. In the event of a clinic cancellation, participants will be notified five days prior to the start of the clinic. A full refund will be given.
If MSOE closes due to inclement weather, the Kern Center also will close and clinic will be cancelled. Snow closing announcements will be posted on www.msoe.edu. Participants also may call (414) 277-6763 to find out if the university is closed.
