Fisher's Eight Points Leads To ROTW Honors

MILWAUKEE – Following a week in which his team was able to garner their first win of the season, MSOE men's lacrosse player Jack Fisher (Ann Arbor, Mich./Skyline) has been named as the Ian's Pizza Raider of the Week.

Fisher had a stellar seven days, leading the Raider's offense in most categories. He started off with a two goal and two assist game in their 9-6 loss to Augustana (Ill.) last Wednesday. He followed up that performance by turning in another four-point effort with three goals and an assist in the Red & White's monstrous 18-4 victory over Fontbonne on Saturday in St. Louis.

Fisher's overall totals for the week were five goals and three assists for a total of eight points. He also had an extremely impressive 90 percent shots on goal average. He is currently tied for the team lead in goals (8) and assists (4) over the course of 5 games and leads the team in total points with 12. Fisher also paces the Red & White with a 72.7 shot of goal percentage (minimum 10 shots).

Fisher and the Raiders will be back in action this Saturday, looking to make it two in a row when they welcome Monmouth to Viets Field for their home opener. Game time is slated for 1:00 pm.
