With the win, the Raiders (13-11, 10-9 NACC) were able to avenge a two-point loss to the Stars (2-22, 2-17 NACC) on the road in December.
Stueck added seven assists, while Patterson followed up his school-record 11-for-11 shooting earlier this week with a tidy 8-for-10 effort from the field. Senior Nathan Verdun added 11 points on Senior Day, sharing team-high rebounding honors with Patterson with six each.
Rich Bodee led Dominican with 18 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Josh Mayberry scored 15 points, thanks to an 8-for-8 clip at the free throw line.
MSOE was on fire in the first half, shooting 61.5 percent from the field in jumping out early and going into halftime with a 41-33 lead. The efficiency continued in the second half, as it was able to push its lead as high as 26 before emptying the bench.
The Raider offense finished the game at 55.3 percent, but it was the defense that held strong. The Stars were limited to just 31.3 percent shooting. They were able to stay afloat thanks, in part, to 32 trips to the free throw line, where they converted 21.
Behind Patterson, the Red & White raided the paint for 34 points, pushing DU out and limiting the visitors to just 10 points in the paint.
The Raiders close out the regular season Wednesday at Wisconsin Lutheran.
