MILWAUKEE – Senior Collin Seubert of the MSOE men's basketball team was named to the All-NACC First Team when the league office announced its post-season awards Wednesday.
This is the first league honor for Seubert, who gives MSOE a member of the All-NACC First Team for the fifth-straight season.
After a strong first three seasons, Seubert is enjoying a breakout senior season. He's started all 24 games and leads the team with 18.0 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, ranking in the top 10 in the league in each category. He's averaging 2.3 made three-pointers per game and has posted seven double-doubles this season. Seubert has scored 20-plus points nine times, including a 35-point outing at Concordia Chicago Dec. 31 and a career-high 36 points at Aurora Feb. 4. He hit eight 3-pointers in that AU contest.
The Marathon, Wisconsin, native also surpassed 1,000 career points Feb. 6. He's the 15th member of the program's 1,000-point club.
Seubert leads the Raiders into the NACC Tournament Wednesday night. As the No. 5 seed, MSOE plays at No. 4 Wisconsin Lutheran at 7 p.m. The Red & White made a run to the 2016 NACC title game as the No. 6 seed with road wins against the No. 3 and No. 2 seeds.
