Seubert Leads Three Named to NABC Honor Court

MILWAUKEE – Senior Collin Seubert of the MSOE men's basketball team repeated as a selection on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honor Court for 2015-17, the organization announced Tuesday.

Juniors Nolan Henton and Karel Gavenciak also earned the honor for the Raiders.

Seubert took the reins of a young team this past season and led the way with 18.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. He surpassed the 1,000-career mark for his career while starting all 25 games. He earned All-NACC First-Team honors and graduated after the winter quarter with his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.

A mechanical engineering major, Henton played in all 25 games and made 11 starts. He averaged 3.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in 17.0 minutes per game.

Gavenciak was an exchange student from the Czech Republic for the 2016-17 school year. Another mechanical engineering, he played in seven games with MSOE. He scored four points with two rebounds, an assist, and a blocked shot.

In order to be named to the NABC Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a varsity player, academically a junior or senior, and maintain a grade point average of 3.2 or better.
