AURORA, Illinois – Senior Eric Fulsaas shot two rounds in the 70's in the spring portion of the 2016-17 NACC Golf Championships Sunday and Monday at Stonebridge Country Club to earn all-league honors as the MSOE golf team took eighth overall.
The Raiders were tied for seventh after the first two rounds in October and finished eighth at +165 (1317). Wisconsin Lutheran won the event at +103 (1255).
Fulsaas sat tied with four other golfers for sixth after the fall rounds at +14 (158). He opened up the spring with a +7 (79) and finished strong at +5 (77) Monday to earn all-conference honors for the second-straight season.
Senior Jarrett Kinney was the only other MSOE player to play all four rounds and finished tied for 25th at +40 (328). He shot a +8 (80) on Sunday before a +15 (87) Monday.
Sophomore Sullivan Schrandt and freshman Michael Barbeau stepped into the lineup in the spring. Schrandt started strong with a +5 (77) on Sunday and finished at +16 (160) for the weekend. Over the two rounds, he finished 22nd. Barbeau was 38th on the weekend, finishing at +3- (174).
The Raiders close out the season this weekend with the North-South Invitational Friday and the St. Norbert Invite Saturday and Sunday.
