MILWAUKEE - Junior Sullivan Schrandt has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for Oct. 2, the league office announced late Monday.
Schrandt won the WLC Fall Invitational last weekend, shooting up the leaderboard with a -4 (68) on day two to finish the event at E (144). The surge moved him up from a tie for 14th place after Friday's round of +4 (76) and was the second-best round in program history, both by score and vs. par. He also became the 11th different Raider to win a tournament since 1999-00 and the first since Jacob Phelps won this event in 2016, also with an even 144.
The Raiders are coming off the MSOE Invitational Sunday and Monday and have off until the first two rounds of the NACC Championships next Monday and Tuesday.
