Golf Sits Fifth at NACC After Fall Rounds

KOHLER, Wisconsin – The MSOE golf team sits in fifth place after the first two rounds of the NACC Championships played Sunday and Monday at Whistling Straits.

The Raiders sits at +81 (657), one shot up on Wisconsin Lutheran in sixth place and 16 back from Concordia Wisconsin in fourth place. The final two rounds of the tournament will be played April 22-23 at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, Illinois.

Freshman Jacob Mueller leads MSOE at the midway point, tied for 12th place at +15 (189). He opened with a 78 Sunday and shot 81 Monday.

Junior Sullivan Schrandt and freshman Nick Redmon are each tied for 18th at +20 (164). Schrandt opened with a 79 while Redmon carded a pair of 82-stroke rounds.

Freshman Bryce Lindsley and senior Andrew Ramirez rounded out the Red & White golfers in the first half. Lindsley is tied for 27th at +26 (170) and Ramirez is three strokes back at +29 (173) and tied for 30th.
