Schrandt Takes Second at Bryant & Stratton Invite

SAUKVILLE, Wisconsin – Junior Sullivan Schrandt was runner-up by just one stroke as he led the MSOE golf team to a fifth-place showing at the Bryant & Stratton Invitational Friday afternoon at The Bog.

The Raiders shot +46 (334) as a team, finishing just a shot out of fourth place and fifth shots behind second place.

Schrandt led the pack with a +6 (78), finishing just one shot off the lead and one shot up on three players tied for third place.

Sophomore Michael Barbeau tied for 16th on the day with a +12 (84) and freshman Jordan Wachowiak was one shot back at +13 (85) and tied for 20th.

Freshman Brett O'Schaughnessy and senior Red Rumack rounded out the team's players. O'Schaughnessy finished tied for 26th at +15 (87) and Rumack was 33rd with a +17 (89).

The Raiders continue a busy weekend Saturday at the rescheduled WLC Spring Invitational.
