Mueller Shoots +3 at WLC Spring Invite

HARTLAND, Wisconsin – Freshman Jacob Mueller carded a +3 (75) to lead the MSOE golf team to seventh place at the WLC Spring Invitational Saturday at Morningstar Country Club.

The Raiders finished at +26 (314) as a team, finishing just one shot back of the host Warriors.

Mueller birdied holes 16, 17, and 18 to finish strong and tie for eighth overall. The score has been the team's best round of the spring.

Junior Sullivan Schrandt also shot in the 70's, posting a +7 (79) and tying for 29th. He also finished strong with three birdies on the back nine.

Senior Andrew Ramirez and freshman Bryce Lindsley were just one shot back at +8 (80) and tied for 36th. Freshmen Nick Redmon and Jordan Wachowiak were then another shot back with scores of +9 (81). They tied for 42nd.

Wachowiak, junior Charlie Paddock, and sophomore Michael Barbeau each competed as individuals. Paddock tied for 50th at +11 (83) and Barbeau shot +14 (86) for 60th place.

MSOE will play a third-straight single-round event Sunday at the once-postponed LFC Forester Invite.
