Hockey Settles for Split at #3/4 Adrian

ADRIAN, Michigan – The MSOE hockey team settled for a hard-earned weekend split after suffering a 6-0 loss to No. 3/4 Adrian Saturday afternoon at Arrington Ice Arena.

The Raiders (1-1, 1-1 NCHA) were riding high after a 3-2 win in the series opener Friday, but the Bulldogs scored two goals in each period to hand them their first loss of the season.

Adrian thrived on the power play, scoring three of its goals with the man advantage on seven power plays in the game. The home team also finished with a 40-28 shot advantage in the game.

Junior Zach Woodman made 34 saves in goal for the Raiders, who will return to the ice Friday in the first game of a home-and-home weekend series with Concordia Wisconsin. The series opens at CUW, before shifting to the Kern Center Saturday for MSOE's home opener.
