Raiders Fall to Beloit at Home

MILWAUKEE – Freshman Andrew Clemens scored a goal in his eighth-straight game, but it was not enough as the MSOE lacrosse team lost to Beloit 17-2 Wednesday evening at Viets Field.

The Raiders (1-10) conceded six first-quarter goals to the Buccaneers (7-5) and just could not get their offense on track until late in the loss.

MSOE did score consecutive goals late in the fourth quarter.

Clemens got on the board with just over four minutes remaining in the game, his team-leading 19th of the season. He then set up a second goal just under two minutes later, assisting on junior Aaron Chun's goal.

Aidan Whinnery guided the Beloit offense with seven assists, adding two goals of his own. Austin Hyatt scored four goals.

The Raiders are back home Saturday, hosting Dubuque at Viets Field.
