MEQUON, Wisconsin – The MSOE lacrosse team saw its three-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Concordia Wisconsin with a 12-1 defeat Wednesday afternoon at Fitting Field.

The Raiders (5-6, 3-2 MLC) actually scored first but the host Falcons (8-4, 4-1 MLC) responded with 12 unanswered goals to claim the win.

Junior Clay Gustafson scored MSOE's goal off an assist from junior James Shipp three minutes into the game. The goal extended his point-scoring streak to 28-straight games.

Concordia Wisconsin got on the board just over two minutes later and tacked on three more goals in the first quarter and another in the second for a 5-1 lead at halftime. The Falcons then scored three times in the third quarter and another four goals in the fourth to provide for the final score.

Junior goalie Pat Collins made eight saves in the game.

The Raiders return to the field Saturday, hosting Aurora at Viets Field.
