Novakovich Named to All-America Second Team

MILWAUKEE – Freshman Rade Novakovich of the MSOE men's soccer team has been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team, the organization announced late Thursday.

Novakovich is the second Raider to earn All-America honors as a freshman (Logan Andryk, 2012) and is the seventh All-American in program history.

The national award is the latest in a banner season for Novakovich. He was named the NACC Offensive Player of the Year and to the All-Central Region First Team. He also picked up Wisconsin State Co-Offensive Player of the Year honors.

Novakovich was the only player in the NACC this season with double-digit goals and assists, leading the league with 17 goals and 45 points. He was also second with 11 assists. The Muskego, Wisconsin, native registered six game-winning goals and tallied a pair of hat tricks this season, including in the regular season finale at Lakeland.
