Men's Tennis Season Ends In NACC Semifinals

MADISON, Wis. – After easily defeating Dominican 5-0 this past Monday, the MSOE men's tennis team advanced to the NACC semifinals to take on Concordia-Wisconsin. Unfortunately, the Falcons were just too much for the Raiders to handle, as they see their season come to an end by the score of 5-1.

No. 1 – Luke Nelson/David Chon DEFEAT Logan Snyder/Christian Docter (8-5)
No. 2 – Alex Dam/Parker Kuhlman fall to Nathan Raskin/Nolan Rademacher (8-1)
No. 3 – Connor Splingaire/Curt Norton fall to Gabe Binversie/Cole Werning (8-4)

SINGLES RESULTS – COMPLETED MATCHES
No. 4 – Norton falls to Peter Kloda (1-6, 6-7)
No. 5 – Splingaire falls to Binversie (6-1, 4-6, 0-6)
No. 6 – Kuhlman falls to Tim Peters (2-6, 4-6)

PLAYERS OF THE MATCH
The team of Luke Nelson (Cottage Grove, Wis. / Monona Grove) and David Chon (Palatine, Ill. / Palatine), both All-NACC selections, were the only Raiders to come away with a win in Madison. They won their No. 1 doubles spot 8-5, and were both playing competitive matches in the No. 1 and No. 2 singles slots before the match was called due to points.

The Raiders end their season with an 11-10 overall record, but finished an impressive 7-2 in conference to take third place in the regular season.
