Raiders Swept at Clarke

DUBUQUE, Iowa - Clarke hit .500 to roll past the MSOE men's volleyball team 25-12, 25-13, 25-8 Wednesday evening at the Kehl Center.

The Raiders (2-2) fell in their second-straight match against a team ranked in the NAIA national top-10. The Crusaders (8-2) entered the week ranked eighth, just ahead of No. 10 Cardinal Stritch MSOE played Tuesday.

Clarke ran away in each set, as the Red and White struggled to keep up. It was close early in the first set, but the home team pulled away. In the second and third, the Crusaders jumped out early and never looked back.

Junior Nick Manning finished with a team-high six kills for MSOE, while sophomore Brett Herbers had five.

Joe Biros and Tyler Wills led the Crusaders with 10 kills apiece

The Raiders continue their busy week, heading to Cincinnati for a weekend tournament hosted by Mount St. Joseph Friday and Saturday.
