MILWAUKEE – Sophomore Quin Krisik of the 14th-ranked MSOE men's volleyball team has been named the Defensive Player of the Week by the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Krisik, who was named the Offensive Player of the Week a week prior, led the Raiders to a pair of wins last week. He had 25 digs over two matches, averaging 3.57 digs per set in that time, with seven total blocks. He notched 17 digs and five blocks in a four-set win at Lakeland Friday. He then came back for an eight-dig, two-block performance at Marian Saturday.
The Raiders have clinched a spot in the MCVL Tournament and take on No. 3 Carthage Thursday in a battle of the league's unbeatens. Each team is 10-0 and has dropped just two sets in league play this season.
