MILWAUKEE – Sophomore Quin Krisik of the 13th-ranked MSOE men's volleyball team repeated on the All-Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League First Team to headline four players honored when the league announced its post-season honors Tuesday.
Krisik has now been named to the first team at setter in each of his first two seasons. He leads the conference and is third in the nation with 11.07 assists per set this season. He also averaged 0.42 service aces, 2.25 digs and 0.49 blocks per set this season—all career-bests.
Dougherty capped his career with his first all-league honor. The two-time team captain led the squad with 2.51 digs per set and notched 53 assists.
Stealey and Naughton were key contributors on offense, as Stealey was second on the team with 2.92 kills per set, while hitting .258 with 0.51 blocks per set. Naughton was one of the most efficient attackers in the league, finishing second in MCVL with a .369 attack percentage. He averaged 2.03 kills and 0.77 blocks per set as a middle blocker.
Naughton was also named to the All-MCVL Second Team as a freshman last season.
The Raiders finished one of the most successful seasons in school history, posting a school record with 18 wins and a .692 winning percentage. They went 12-1 in league play to take second place in the regular season before advancing to the MCVL Championship match. MSOE was nationally ranked for much of the season, peaking at No. 10.
