MILWAUKEE – Senior Quin Krisik of the MSOE men's volleyball team was named the NACC Player of the Week for Jan. 21 when the league office announced its weekly award winners Wednesday morning.
Krisik earned the league's first honor of the season in his return to the floor after not playing in 2018.
Krisik led the Men's Volleyball team to a 3-1 record at the season-opening Jim Coleman Invitational, including wins over No. 9 UC Santa Cruz and No. 12 Marymount. He flirted with triple-doubles in each of the first two matches before registering his second career triple-double, and third in program history, against Marymount. Against the Saints, he finished with 11 kills (.444 hit%), 37 assists, 13 digs, and four aces. He had eight kills, 41 assists, and 10 digs against UCSC, then finished with six kills, 52 assists, and 14 digs vs. Mount St. Joseph.
For the weekend, Krisik averaged 9.13 assists, 2.75 digs, and 1.69 kills per set while hitting .298 and notching 11 service aces.
The Raiders are back in action Sunday, playing matches at Division I/II Quincy and then at Culver-Stockton.
