The Raiders then hit .609 in a decisive second-set victory. They opened on a 15-5 run and never looked back. That momentum continued even into the third set as the hosts jumped out 12-4. IIT did pull back within 14-10 and was within four again at 16-12. The Red & White then took over again, this time finishing the match off with a 9-3 run.
Two days after committing 31 service errors, the Raiders cut that down to just 11. They also hit extremely efficient, finishing the night at .329 attacking. The team combined 36 kills and just 11 errors in 76 attacks. Meanwhile, 8.0 Red & White team blocks contributed to the Scarlet Hawks hitting just .038 for the match.
