MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Quin Krisik (Itasca, Ill./Itasca HS) has done it again. The league office announced Tuesday morning that the senior setter was once again named as the NACC men's volleyball player of the week ending on March 3rd, 2019.
Krisik helped the (RV) Raiders go 2-1 last week, averaging 7.77 assists per set. His performance also included a triple-double in a five-set loss to NAIA opponent Cardinal Stritch last Thursday, assembling 13 kills, 32 assists, and 12 digs.
Not to be deterred by a close loss, Krisik spearheaded the effort in the back to back wins against conference foes on Friday and Saturday. His performance against Concordia-Chicago saw him rack up 24 assists, five service aces, five digs, and four blocks. Krisik saved his best performance for last, helping the Red and White topple #3 Benedictine in a five setter with 45 assists, 12 kills, eight digs, four blocks, and two assists inside of Hotchkin Arena.
The 101 total assists and .375 attack percentage helped earn him his second POTW honor of the season, the first coming back during the week ending on Jan. 22nd.
Krisik and the Raiders will be looking to add three more victories to their win column, starting Wednesday evening when they travel to Fond du Lac, Wis. to take on Marian University.
