Women’s Basketball Falls at Lakeland

PLYMOUTH, Wisconsin – The MSOE women's basketball team fell to Lakeland 56-33 Saturday afternoon at Woltzen Gymnasium.

The Raiders (2-2, 1-1 NACC) struggled shooting in the game to the tune of 23.5 percent, allowing the Muskies (4-2, 1-1 NACC) to pull away in the second half.

Freshman Amy Reiser led MSOE with seven points and six rebounds in the game.

Maddy Doll led Lakeland with 21 points and Miranda Jacobson added 10.

The Muskies jumped out to a 17-11 lead after one quarter and, after a tight second quarter, led 27-20. They then outscored the Red & White 29-13 in the second half to pull away.

The Raiders return to action Tuesday at Edgewood.
