Rathburn wrestled at 157 pounds and Vandenbush 174 at the meet.
Rathburn got his day off to a prosperous start with a 7-6 decision in his opening match. He was then sent to the consolation bracket with a loss by fall. He advanced by medical forfeit before seeing his day come to an end via another fall.
Vandenbush also opened with a win, shutting out his first opponent of the day, 7-0. He fell just short in a 7-6 decision and then went through the consolation bracket. He rebounded for a 10-4 decision victory before capping his run at the tournament by fall in his next match.
The Raiders are off through the holidays, returning to action Dec. 2 when they host the annual MSOE Invitational.
