OSHKOSH, Wis. – The No. 5 seeded MSOE women's tennis team took to the courts this afternoon looking to extend their season by at least one more match. Their competition was the No. 4 seed Marian Sabres who they easily upset 5-1 at the Oshkosh YMCA on Tuesday afternoon to move on to the NACC semifinals.

No. 2 – Hannah Marron/Olivia Boden DEFEAT Krysten Bruce/Sarah Mereness (8-3)
No. 3 – Kim Baffin/Cali Bonie DEFEAT Brenda Ordonez/Erica Counter (8-5)
No. 1 – Marron DEFEATS Lewandowski (3-6, 6-4, 6-2)
No. 2 – Clements DEFEATS Bruce (6-1, 6-3)
No. 4 – Becker falls to Ordonez (6-3, 1-6, 0-6)
PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Katie Clements (La Crosse, Wis. / Aquinas) helped propel her team to victory this afternoon, upsetting the No. 4 seeded Sabres. While Clements and her partner Cierra Smith (Oconomowoc, Wis. / Oconomowoc) had to battle in their No. 1 doubles match, they still were able to pull out the victory by the score of 8-6. Out of the three singles matches that reached their conclusion, Clements was the one that was that opened and closed the quickest. She disposed of their No. 2 opponent in convincing fashion by the scores of 6-1 and 6-3.
The Raiders now advance to the conference tournament semifinal matchup this weekend in Madison, Wis. at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium. Their opponent will be either Edgewood or Concordia-Wisconsin pending the outcome of the second first ground game that will take place tomorrow afternoon between Wisconsin-Lutheran and Illinois Tech.
