Bilskie Named to Google Cloud Academic All-America First Team

MILWAUKEE – Senior Jessica Bilskie of the MSOE women's track & field team has been named to the Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Bilskie has been named an Academic All-America for the second-straight season, having earned third-team honors last season.

Bilskie had an outstanding senior 2018 season with the Raiders, winning the 60m hurdles at the NACC Championships during the indoor season. She added three runner-up finishes outdoors while breaking four school records during the year. At the outdoor meet, she set program marks as runner-up in the 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles. She also ran with record-breaking relays in the 4x400m indoors and 4x100m outdoors. Bilskie scored in the pole vault in sixth place.

Bilskie is an electrical engineering major and graduated from MSOE in May with a 4.00 grade point average.

Bilskie is the fifth CoSIDA Academic All-American for the department in the 2017-18 academic year, following Braden Andryk (men's soccer), Jason Palesse (men's basketball), Jimmy Carrington (baseball), and Carly Grant (women's tennis).
