LILSE, Ill – Coming of back to back impressive outings, the MSOE women's track and field team hit the circuit again on Friday and Saturday looking to put together more high marks. Participating on the same surfaces that the NACC outdoor championship will take place on, the Raiders set two school records at the Benedictine Eagle Relays.

TOP TRACK PERFORMER
There were two runners that earn this week's honors, both of whom broke a school record with their outings. Rachel Ruona (Grafton, Wis. / Grafton) set a brand-new school mark in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:57.3. The fifth-place finish was 21 seconds faster than the previous record. Ruona also had good results in the javelin throw with a 12th place outing. Freshman Kendall Marks (Quincy, Ill. / Quincy Senior) keeps making a name for herself as well, shattering the MSOE mark in the 10,000 meter by 10 second with a third place result and a time of 39:36.36.
TOP FIELD PERFORMER
Other than Marks, the name that keeps coming up week after week is Bianca Trombley (Elkhorn, Wis. / Elkhorn Area), who set a personal best in every single event that she participated in this weekend. This included a 52cm improvement in the triple jump (4th place – 11.00m), finishing 3cm better than ever before in the high jump (6th place – 1.55m), and a time that was .15 second faster than her previous best in the 100-meter hurdles (17th place – 17.73s)
