MILWAUKEE - The Raiders return from Thanksgiving with home dates for Men's Basketball, Wrestling and Women's Basketball.
MEN'S BASKETBALL (1-1, 1-0 - W1)
Men's Basketball picked up its first win of the season at Lakeland Tuesday. The Raiders were led by 22 points from Max Wojcik and double-doubles by Collin Seubert (18 points/12 rebounds) and Alex Darville (15/10). Wojcik went 7-of-11 from the field, hitting on both three-point attempts and all six free throws on the night. They return to the court this week with games against Edgewood Wednesday and at Illinois Tech Saturday.
Wrestling returns to action after a couple weeks off to host the 12th Annual MSOE Invitational. Austin Bellile took second at the CUW Open the last time the Raiders took the mat. The Red & White starter at 285 pounds is ranked No. 8 in the country in his weight class and has been dealt just one loss this season (8-1) by the #3 wrestler.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (1-2, 0-2 NACC - L2)
Women's Basketball had a tough week last week, opening NACC play with a pair of losses. Saturday's game saw the Raiders shoot a season-best 44.4 percent from the field and 17-for-20 at the free throw line. Holly Denfeld has picked up where she left off last season, averaging 18.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game with a pair of double-doubles through three games. She's also shooting 65.5 percent from the field and 81.8 at the free throw line. MSOE looks to get back on track Saturday, hosting Alverno and former head coach Jess Ott Saturday. Ott led the Raiders for 14 seasons before taking over as head coach and director of athletics at Alverno over the summer.
