HAVEN, Wis. – MSOE headed into the NACC Men's Golf Championships having put together a few solid showings in a row leading up to the big conference match. The progress showed as the Red & White wrapped up the first two rounds at Whistling Straights in third place and will be in contention when the tournament continues in the spring.
3rd Place (After two rounds)
Bryce Lindsley has been playing some of his best golf lately, so it's unfortunate that the fall season had to end this past weekend. Lindsley will carry his second place standing over into the spring where he will have a very good shot at coming home with the NACC individual conference championship. Lindsley put together back to back rounds of 77, leaving him only four strokes behind the leader from Aurora who he will try to catch once the tournament resumes in the spring. Garrett Schultz is also within striking distance, finishing the first two days in a four-way tie for fourth and only six strokes behind the current leader.
WHAT'S ON DECK
The MSOE fall season has ended, but this isn't the last we have seen of them. The Red & White will pick back up in the spring and will look to comeback to win the NACC tournament at the end of their spring slate.
