Men's Cross Country Takes Second at NACC Championship

AURORA, IL-- MSOE men's cross country team finished 2nd at the NACC Championship meet hosted by Aurora University at Oakhurst Forest Preserve.  The Raiders had three All-Conference members, as they placed 6th, 7th, and 8th at the championships.

Nolan Kozinski was 6th, covering the 8,000 meter course in a time of 25:49.  Jesse Lambrecht was just 5 seconds behind to place 7th with a time of 25:54 and not to be outdone, Blake Bostwick also broke 26:00 minutes.  Bostwick was only 2 seconds back to place 8th with a time of 25:56.

The Raiders continued their impressive pack running with all their varsity runners.  Will Demerath was 21st in a time of 26:46, with the next 3 Red and White runners finishing 30th, 31st, and 32nd.  Sean Fitzpatrick ran 27:28 for the 30th spot, Jude Ingram was right on his heels for 31st with a time of 27:32 and Kenny Holbrook ran 27:36 for the 32nd spot.

Head coach Bill Massoels was named the NACC Coach of the Year in his first season leading the Raiders.

MSOE will take a week off before heading to Eau Claire, WI for the NCAA Midwest Regional meet on November 10th.
