MILWAUKEE – After another stellar week where she averaged almost four points a game, freshman women's soccer player Caitie LeVasseur has been named Ian's Pizza Raider of the Week ending on October 20, 2019.
LeVasseur started off the first two games of the week with a goal and an assist in wins against Marian and Benedictine, but the best was yet to come. On Sunday, the midfielder netted two goals and one assist as part of the offensive onslaught that the Raiders brought against Rockford in an 8-0 victory.
LeVasseur now leads the team with 23 points, 11 more than her closest teammate. She ranks sixth in the NACC with 10 goals, eighth in overall points and total shots, and fifth with two game-winning goals.
The Raiders have another three-game week ahead of them, and it would be nice to see LeVasseur keep the production going when they head into an extremely important match on Wednesday against Concordia-Wisconsin starting at 3:30 pm in Mequon.
